Angel's Story
In 1998, Zhao Chun Li, "Angel", was locked away during the Presidential visit of President Bill Clinton to China. Angel lived in an ancient fishing village near Yangshuo, China. The local government deemed her "too disabled" for President Clinton and his family to see. The shame and worthlessness as a person that Angel felt and experienced was finally resolved on April 1st, 2012, when President Clinton knelt down to her, held her tiny hands, and said, "I am so sorry I did not get to meet you when I visited your home."
